OtE Desk

This desk offers a twist on traditional presentation of figured veneer. Starting with a batch of veneer that has a good wow-factor, a top for the desk is built from four pieces of the material in an arrangement known as quarter-matching. One of the front legs of the desk is then assembled using two more pieces of the same wood and joined to the top in such a way that one flows into the other. The effect, hopefully, is the same that water would have if it were left to pool on the desk top and flow down one leg.
