Original Neo Sculpted Chair

The leg configuration on the Neo (Neo-contemporary) sculpted chair varies slightly with my other chair designs; the rear legs are closer together. I'm using the joinery that Sam Maloof used in his rocking chair. Each leg joint is carved to blend into the seat. The legs begin with 2 1/2" slab wood that are cut to give the most movement as possible. I'm amazed, as my clients are at how comfortable these chairs are for extended sitting.
