Box Maker Coffee Table

Graceful curves connecting the plane of the floor to the plane of the table top reexamine the question of what it is that makes a box.
Both a coffee table and a demure storage chest, the concept of a functional furniture piece is playfully unraveled using ebony and guinea wood. The image developed for the top is a cryptic explanation as to how the piece could be easily made at home with just scissors, paper and glue.... maybe.
