Sun Comes Up bed

Design influences often come from many different places and experiences. In the case of this bed, a simple screen door detail from Greene and Greene's Gamble House in Pasedena, CA captured Hugh's attention while visiting the house. The screen door's sun-ray motif inspired this beds design with its center-tapered frame pieces suggestive of the sun’s rays. The Sun Comes Up bed shown in this image is a twin (double) size bed.
